Don Shiffrin|Business Storytelling

After more than twenty-five years working as a screenwriter, freelance ghostwriter, executive speechwriter and creative director I’ve learned that no matter the writing medium the most effective way to engage and motivate an audience is through storytelling. I’ve also discovered that everyone has a great story to tell. It’s my mission to enable my clients to tell their story in the very best way possible.

Every piece of business communication tells a story. It has a beginning, middle and end. It has a theme–the essence of what your organization, product or service represents. It has a plot–customer meets product/service, customer falls in love, other products/services try to disrupt that relationship, customer and product/service renew and strengthen their relationship. It has a moral or lesson learned–the motivator that gets your customers, clients or employees enabled to act and be emotionally engaged.

Great storytelling is more than choosing the right words. It requires investing those words with a distinct point of view arising from life experience. My point of view is how we communicate with one another says a lot about how we navigate the world.  Business Storytelling is a means of letting your customers and employees know the true essence of what you have to offer in ways that are focused, clear and engaging.

Two of my recent Business Storytelling engagements were: introduce new Lenovo and Moto mobile products at the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain; and, write executive presentations for the 2016 launch event of Genesis, the all-new, luxury automotive brand from Hyundai.

Let me show you how I can help you shape and tell your story.
